Double-click on titlebar does not maximise window in Linux ?

If you are using a different window decorator than the default one(Metacity), for example Emareld, it uses it's own actions to define window behavior.
For Emareld do the following,
Goto Emareld settings -> Titlebar double-click action to enable Maximise effect on windows.
